I'm a pastor and a stock trader.
I’ve spent the last 16 years actively investing in the stock market. My focus is short-term stock and options trading, using seasonal patterns and price action to find high-probability, low-risk opportunities. Before I became a trader, I was, and still am, a pastor. That calling has shaped every part of who I am.
I’ve served in pastoral ministry for more than 25 years. Like many pastors, I began investing simply by buying a couple of stocks I had heard about. To my surprise, those first trades grew more than 30 percent within a few weeks. I tried again with the same approach. Within three months, I had made about 80 percent of my annual pastoral salary. From that moment forward, I was hooked.
I didn't have a mentor (huge mistake!). I didn’t take any formal training (not ideal!). I just kept learning on my own, testing strategies, and building a system that actually worked (finally!). A system that was simple enough to fit my schedule as a full-time ministry leader.
Pastors do not have to be poor.
Financial strain should not be a permanent part of your calling. I believe God provides, and He often provides through wisdom, stewardship, and learning to do something new. Proverbs 13:11 is one of my guiding verses. It says, “Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it.”
I built my system on that principle. I now teach other pastors how to trade with confidence, clarity, and a biblical worldview.
I am the founder and executive director of G6 Allies, a ministry dedicated to helping pastors and Christian leaders thrive both personally and financially. Through Resilient Trading, our financial empowerment arm, I help church leaders build additional income streams through short-term investing strategies that actually fit their lives.
The system I teach takes less than 15 minutes per week. It does not require watching the screen all day or risking your life savings. It was built by a pastor, for pastors.
This is not just about trading. It is about freedom.
It is about peace of mind, a stronger family, and the ability to serve without constantly worrying about money. I am building a community of ministry leaders who support one another and share practical tools to grow financially, without compromising their calling.
I am married to Whitney, my best friend and biggest encourager. We have a daughter named Regin, and we love doing life and ministry together. I hold a PhD in theology and serve as the lead pastor at G6 Church.
If you are a pastor or Christian leader who wants to stop surviving and start building financial resilience, I would love to help. This is not about chasing wealth. It is about building strength that lasts.
When pastors thrive, churches thrive.
Let’s get started.
