Learn Short-Term Investing From a Pastor, With a Plan That Honors Your Faith

A guided options income plan for Christians who want steady, realistic income growth—without gambling, hype, or endless screen time.

Trusted by pastors, missionaries, and church leaders worldwide

If You Love Jesus and Also Want More Income… You’re Not Crazy

You’ve given your life to ministry and serving others. You live modestly. You trust God to provide. But you also feel the weight of retirement, college, and future expenses, and you wonder if learning short‑term investing is wise, or if it will pull your heart in the wrong direction.

This is probably for you if...

You’ve dabbled in investing or trading but never found a plan you trust.

Some months you’re up, then you give it all back, and your balance trends sideways or down.

You want more income, but not at the cost of your peace, your integrity, or your calling.

A Guided Income Plan Built on Biblical Wisdom, Designed for Steady Income

This membership helps faith‑driven traders pursue consistent monthly income over time by combining four biblical guardrails, a simple market lens, defined‑risk options spreads, and a fixed‑ratio compounding plan.

Faith-Based Guardrails

Four principles from Proverbs shape every decision: risk comes first, discipline is non‑negotiable, trade the long view, and never treat trading as something you can simply copy.

Defined-Risk Strategies

Every trade uses simple spread structures with a clearly defined maximum loss before you ever enter. If the risk isn’t clear, the trade doesn’t happen.

A Clear Compounding Plan

Position size grows only after realized profits justify it, using a fixed‑ratio approach that favors steady progress over emotional swings.

How the System Works

Step 1: Get the Map

Short, focused lessons give you the framework, language, and structure: faith‑based principles, VWAP market lens, risk rules, and strategy playbooks, so you’re not guessing or piecing together random strategies.

Step 2: See Real Trades

Weekly reports and trade alerts show you the exact setups, entries, and exits, with risk defined in dollars, so the map meets real trades so you can see how those principles look in real trades.

Step 3: Grow in Community

Live coaching calls and a like‑minded community help you stay disciplined, process emotions, and keep your trading aligned with your faith so discipline and peace can grow alongside your skill.

Comparison Didn't Start on Instagram: What Genesis 3 Teaches About Comparison and God's Goodness

August 04, 20265 min read

The Drive to Measure Up

The battle against comparison began long before social media. It began with a question about God's goodness.

We often blame social media for our comparison problem. We assume that if we spent less time doomscrolling, we'd finally feel content with our own lives. Seeing highlight reels from friends and family plastered across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok can certainly make us wish we looked more like her, had a house like that, or enjoyed vacations like them. We know people usually post their best selfies and biggest successes, yet constant scrolling can still distort our perception of reality and convince us that everyone else has it all together.

Social media may amplify comparison, but it didn't invent it. Long before smartphones, magazines, or church culture gave us endless opportunities to measure ourselves against one another, comparison entered the world through a single question in the Garden of Eden. Understanding where comparison began helps us understand why simply deleting an app never solves the deeper problem.

Comparison Begins with a Question

Before sin entered the world, Adam and Eve lacked nothing. They enjoyed perfect fellowship with God and delighted in His presence. Every good gift they possessed came from His hand, and they had no reason to doubt His goodness. Then, the serpent asked a question.

"Did God actually say…?" (Genesis 3:1)

Satan didn't begin by blatantly inviting Eve to rebel. He first invited her to doubt. He questioned God's Word, which caused Eve to question God's character. Was God really as good as He claimed to be? Could He be withholding something better from her? The serpent didn't have to convince Eve that God wasn't generous. He only had to plant the suspicion that perhaps God wasn't generous enough.

Suddenly, Eve's attention shifted from everything God had graciously provided to the one thing He had wisely withheld. Her focus moved from abundance to scarcity, from gratitude to desire, and from trust to suspicion.

Comparison was born long before anyone compared houses, careers, ministries, or social media feeds. It began when God's goodness was questioned.

Satan still uses the same strategy today. Rarely does he begin with obvious lies. Instead, he whispers subtle questions that distort our thinking.

"If God is really good, why hasn't He given you what He gave her?"

"If He truly loved you, wouldn't your life look different?"

The lies change with our circumstances, but the strategy remains the same.

Comparison doesn't begin when we notice what someone else has. It begins when we start to wonder whether God has been as good to us as He has been to others.

The Root of Comparison Is Distrust

Eve didn't simply want fruit. She wanted what she believed God had unfairly withheld. That's the root beneath every comparison. We experience it every day.

"Why hasn't God given me a marriage like hers?"

"Why does her ministry seem to flourish while mine feels small?"

"Why do her children seem easier to parent?"

"Why does she appear so confident?"

Comparison convinces us that God's generosity toward someone else somehow means less generosity toward us, but Scripture tells a different story. James reminds us that "every good gift and every perfect gift is from above" (James 1:17). The psalmist assures us that God "withholds no good thing from those who walk uprightly" (Psalm 84:11). That doesn't mean God grants every desire we have. It means He never withholds anything that is truly good according to His perfect wisdom. His definition of "good" is always better than ours.

Perhaps the clearest assurance of God's goodness and generosity toward us comes from Romans 8:32:

"He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?"

Paul's argument is breathtaking, and it should cause us to humbly check our hearts. If God has already given us His greatest treasure, His own Son, why would we suspect Him of being stingy with lesser gifts?

The cross forever settles the question of God's goodness. We don't evaluate God's love by comparing our lives to someone else's. We evaluate His love by looking at Christ.

A Better Question to Ask Instead

When struggling with comparison, our sinful flesh often asks, "Why didn't God make me like her?" Instead, Scripture teaches us to ask a better question.

"What has God entrusted to me?"

Paul reminds us that we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works that He prepared beforehand for us to walk in (Ephesians 2:10). Our calling isn't an accident, and neither are our gifts.

In 1 Corinthians 12, Paul further explains that the Holy Spirit intentionally distributes different gifts throughout the Body of Christ. Diversity isn't a flaw in God's design. It's evidence of His wisdom. Romans 12 echoes the same truth: many members, one body, one purpose.

Comparison assumes that if God loves us all equally, everyone should look the same. Scripture, however, points to an intentional design displayed through a Body in which every member is different, yet every member is necessary. The question is no longer whether someone else's gifts seem greater than ours. The question is whether we will faithfully steward the gifts God has entrusted to us as we work alongside other members of the same Body toward the same purpose.

Trust the Right Voice

The serpent's question was, "Did God actually say…?"

The Christian's answer is, "Yes, He did."

You are His workmanship, chosen and loved in Christ. You are His daughter and His prized possession. You were fearfully and wonderfully made and given a specific purpose meant to bring glory to the Lord. He has prepared good works for you and is working all things together for your good and His glory. The next time comparison begins to creep into your heart, don't simply try to silence it. Let it expose the deeper question beneath the surface.

"Whose voice am I listening to?"

Then ask another:

"What truth about God's character am I struggling to believe right now?"

Comparison is rarely the real problem. More often, it reveals an invitation to trust the God whose wisdom has never failed, whose goodness has never diminished, and whose love was undeniably displayed at the cross. When we fix our eyes on Him instead of measuring ourselves against one another, comparison begins to lose its grip, not because our circumstances have changed, but because our confidence in God's character has grown.

Built by a pastor, for Christian leaders. My system makes investing simple, strategic, and aligned with biblical principles.

Michael Shafer's Story:

“Facing the same financial uncertainty common among pastors, I stumbled upon a side hustle 15 years ago that revolutionized not just my finances, but my ability to serve in ministry without the looming stress of financial insecurity. This journey led me to a significant realization: financial freedom and ministry can coexist beautifully.”

But this isn't about Michael's journey...

Here are some real-life stories from others in the community

"His process works!"

“I have done this program consistently for six months now. For the eight out of the last 10 weeks, I have hit my weekly target in profit that allows me to pay a targeted portion of my bills without using my paycheck. Any Pastor should consider working with Michael because it is clear that he 100% cares about helping you make sure your financial future is more secure. There is no other agenda. And his process works!”

- Adam W., Arkansas

"I took control of my IRA"

“Using the method of investing I have learned through the program, we have been able to gain traction in our retirement programs and took control of our IRAs. I did not understand how to invest our portfolios and used mangers that cost 6%+ per year. This created a strain on our retirement during long term down periods in the market. We have gained more than the cost of the program in several days.”

- Aaron S., Oklahoma

"My account has grown 65.5%!!"

"I made my first trade with real money one year ago. I had $2400 in my account. Closing today’s trade, my account has grown 65.5%!! This year alone it has grown 31.4% in 3 months. I want to say thank you for all you have taught me. I don’t know how often you are told that you are making a difference for pastors/missionaries in the area of finances, but you are definitely helping me."

- Lew J., Kenya

"The side-hustle I've been looking for."

“This has been exactly the kind of side-hustle I was looking for. I needed someone I could trust to teach me how to get more time back and stop doing side gigs that take hours of my time and eat away at my ministry focus. Plus, I make more money with this. A double win!"

- Will D., Arkansas
